At the eRegulatory Summit to be held on 24-26 April in Lisbon, Portugal, Frits Stulp and Hans van Leeuwen will introduce the best practice to leverage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Regulatory Information Management System (RIMs) linkage for the implementation of the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) through a case study at Astellas.

Following an introduction to Falsified Medicines Directive and its current implementation in Europe, they will dive into the data that play an important role, particularly the role of manufacturing and Regulatory. Taking Astellas as the example, they will showcase the Astellas initiative to map the available product information between the ERP and RIMs, above all highlighting the benefit of doing so to facilitate the FMD implementation.
